Online Word Unscrambler is operated by LUCHAR CONCEPT TWO FIVE FOUR MEDIA LIMITED ("we", "us", or "our"). This policy explains how information is handled when you use this website or contact us.

Information processed

The word tools process the letters, patterns, and filters you submit to return matching dictionary results. Requests are sent to same-origin application endpoints hosted with the website. The application does not require an account and does not deliberately write search inputs to a user database.

The application uses request metadata, including an IP address supplied by the hosting network, for a short-lived in-memory rate limit. The application does not log search bodies in its own code. Hosting and security providers may process standard request, device, and diagnostic information under their own terms.

Browser storage

Recent searches can be stored locally on your device under owu-recent-searches so you can reuse them. Your optional-cookie choice is stored under owu-cookie-consent. You can clear recent searches in the tool, reopen Cookie settings, or clear site data in your browser.

Analytics

If you accept optional cookies, Google Analytics 4 measures visits and feature interactions. Our custom analytics events exclude the complete letters, search query, and copied word; they use limited details such as input length, result count, tool name, and filter count. Google may also process standard browser, device, referral, and approximate-location information as described in Google's policies.

Advertising

If you accept optional cookies, Google AdSense may load to deliver and measure advertising, prevent fraud, and apply Google's advertising choices. Google and its partners may use cookies, local storage, device identifiers, and related data subject to their own policies and your available consent and ad settings.

Service providers

The website is hosted on Vercel, which provides delivery, application execution, security, and operational infrastructure. Google provides Analytics and AdSense when those services are enabled and you accept optional cookies. Email providers process messages sent to our contact address. We do not sell search inputs.

Retention and choices

Recent-search and consent records remain on your device until you clear or change them. Rate-limit records are temporary and in memory. We retain support correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain necessary records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. You can reject optional cookies without losing access to the word tools.
